Dreaming of Sleep: A comprehensive, hands-on sleep course
Over 18 million Americans suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea, many of which, are not even aware. This medical disorder can be life threatening and while snoring is a major symptom, not all snorers have sleep apnea. Additionally, not all people who have sleep apnea, snore.
Join Dr. John Herald of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for this two part series to find out why sleep medicine is so important to dentistry and how you are in the best position to screen and treat patients with Sleep Apnea. In this course, we will break down any misconceptions, answer all your questions on a variety of topics, and take a hands
on-approach to dive deeper into sleep dentistry.
This course will include for all doctors, the opportunity to have a series of home sleep tests done on themselves. The first test—a HST without an appliance, and the second test—a HST with a custom oral sleep device. Course tuition includes fabrication and delivery of a custom oral sleep device. With his 25+ years of experience, Dr. Herald is a clinician who sees this growing problem and treats it daily in his practice.
